Our shipyard was founded in 1984 in Curitiba, Brazil, when the engineer and founder José Maria Cechelero Jr. started manufacturing fiberglass Buggies in a small garage. José scaled his production including: hoods for trucks, kayaks, kiosks, watchtowers, and more.
In 1994 with new employees and a bigger production line, the first boats were introduced, inspired by fishing American models the famous “Bass Boats”. With Hanover’s first vessel being born so was the start of a journey to acquire knowledge and perfect our craft in order to elevate it to global standards.
Today, Hanover is one of the leaders in the Motor Yachts and Cabin Cruisers industry, making our mission to keep improving our practices to deliver the highest luxury, comfort and performance to our customers.
